This webinar provided valuable information to support caregivers in exploring the unique strengths and needs of 2SLGBTQ children and youth. This webinar offered practical information on helpful topics around the central theme of best practices when supporting youth in the mental health system and included the importance of pronouns, language, fostering safe spaces, and inclusion.
This panel of internal identity specific programs discussed the impacts of intergenerational trauma on individuals, families and communities. In addition, the panel explored the impact COVID-19 has had on its vulnerable populations, paying particular attention to the impacts of isolation and identity politics.
